“It’s going to be very tough. It starts at nil-nil and they (W Connection) will be coming for the win,” said Jabloteh head coach Earl Jean.

Jean registered a 2-1 victory over his former coach Stewart Charles Fevrier of Connection last Friday in Round One Match Day One of the 2009 Digicel Pro League and he is aware of the aftermath.

“Obviously they will want to recover from that making it even harder for us. The CFU Cup means a lot to them and we know what they have to offer,” he continued.

Jean, a former player with Connection for nine years before joining rivals Jabloteh in 2008 have won the CFU title on two occasions while under Fevrier.

Meantime, Jean says that his players are all eager ahead of the semi-final. He said that they are aware of the difficult task and that makes it even more precious for a victory.

Jean is unbeaten since his debut in the coaching role for Jabloteh, when he guided them to a 3-1 victory over Inter Meongo Tapoe in the second leg of Round Two of the CFU tournament in which they advanced into the semifinals on a 5:2 aggregate victory in April.

Domestically he has guided the defending League champions to the top of the standings with maximum points after two matches—against Connection(Match Day 1) and St Ann’s Rangers(Match Day 2).

In the earlier CFU Club Champions Cup semi-final Puerto Rico Islanders and Haiti’s Tempete FC from 5pm at the Macoya venue.
